The Four Stars ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") develops and operates a portfolio of mobile and web applications and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information across all of our Services. By using any of our Services, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
Some of our apps have their own supplemental privacy policy that describes data practices specific to that app (for example, AI text processing, classroom and academic data, or advertising). Where an app-specific policy differs from this one, the app-specific policy controls for that app.

2. Information We Collect
a) Account Information. When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (via email/password registration or Google Sign-In). Some apps support anonymous or guest accounts, in which case we collect only a device-generated identifier.
b) Content You Provide. Depending on the app, we collect content you submit such as text, messages, files, images, documents, classroom and academic data, or other materials you upload or create. This content is used to provide the relevant features of that app.
c) Usage & Device Data. We automatically collect device type, operating system version, app version, language and theme preferences, and general usage patterns to operate and improve the Services. We may collect push notification tokens to deliver notifications.
d) Purchase Information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment transactions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We receive subscription and entitlement information but do not collect or store your payment card details.
e) Advertising Identifiers. Certain apps display third-party advertisements. In those apps, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) and its sub-processors may collect your mobile advertising identifier, IP address, approximate (city-level) location, device information, and ad interaction events. 3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Deliver the core features of each app
- Process and verify subscription purchases and enforce plan limits
- Send transactional communications (password resets, verification, notifications)
- Serve and measure advertisements in apps that include ads
- Improve, personalize, and expand the Services
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
Except for advertising identifiers shared with our ad partner in apps that include ads, we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Services, including:
- Google Firebase & Google Cloud: Authentication, database, file storage, and push notifications.
- Google Sign-In: Authentication via Google's OAuth 2.0 service, if you choose it.
- AI processing providers: For apps with AI features, submitted content is processed by third-party AI models solely to generate results. We do not use your content to train AI models.
- Email providers: Transactional emails such as password resets and verification.
- Google AdMob: Advertising identifiers and limited device data in apps that serve ads.
We may also share data when:
- Required by Law: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You may request deletion of your account at any time using the "Delete Account" feature in the relevant app or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure authentication via Firebase Auth, and access controls on our servers. Data hosted on Google Cloud is encrypted at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data and account
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities

8. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age unless an app-specific policy states otherwise (for example, an educational app used under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or tutor). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including countries where Google Cloud infrastructure is located. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the Services, you consent to such transfers. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within an app or on this page, or by email. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when the latest revisions were made. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
