The Four Stars

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile and web applications and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by The Four Stars ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Individual apps may have additional terms that apply specifically to them; where they differ, the app-specific terms control for that app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Services.

2. Account Registration

You may create an account using Google Sign-In, email/password, or (where supported) use a Service anonymously as a guest. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Description of Services

The Four Stars provides a portfolio of apps with different features, which may include AI-powered tools, educational and classroom management tools, communication features, and more. Features vary by app and may change over time. Some features rely on artificial intelligence and may not always produce accurate, complete, or appropriate results.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Generate, upload, or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Generate spam, phishing content, or fraudulent communications
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, subscription restrictions, or security measures
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Services
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Services
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or their infrastructure
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all text, images, files, and other content you submit to the Services ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process it solely for the purpose of providing the Services. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the right to submit it.

6. AI-Generated Output

For apps with AI features, output generated by the Services ("Generated Content") is provided "as is." You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and using Generated Content. The Company makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or legality of Generated Content. You assume all risk associated with your use of Generated Content.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Some Services offer free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You may manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their refund policies.
  • We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

8. Free Tier & Usage Limits

Free-tier users may be subject to daily or monthly usage limits. We reserve the right to modify these limits at any time. Exceeding limits may require upgrading to a paid subscription.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services, including their design, code, features, branding, logos, and documentation, are owned by The Four Stars and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, trade names, or branding without prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE FOUR STARS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Four Stars and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete Account" feature in the relevant app. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Modifications to the Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Four Stars is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
